Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is maintained by the operator of this site.

Last updated August 1, 2026

The short version. We collect very little. The only information you actively give us is what you type into the contact form, which opens your own email program and sends a message to npeters@yourleaderinluxury.com. We do not sell or share personal information for money, and we do not run advertising profiles on this site.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by a private publisher (“we,” “us”). The contact form is the only channel for inquiries and is monitored at npeters@yourleaderinluxury.com. This policy applies only to this website, not to any third-party site you reach from it.

Information you give us

  • Contact form content: your name, email address, selected area of interest, and message. The form composes a message in your own email client; when you send it, the message and your email address are delivered to us by your email provider.
  • Please do not submit sensitive information — government identifiers, financial account numbers, health information, or anything confidential or privileged.

Information collected automatically

  • Server and hosting logs: our hosting provider may log IP address, user agent, referring URL, requested page, and timestamp for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
  • Local storage: we store your cookie-notice choice in your browser so the notice does not reappear. See the Cookie Policy.
  • Map tiles: the interactive map loads map imagery from a third-party tile provider (OpenStreetMap) only if you affirmatively accept in the cookie notice; that provider then receives your IP address, user agent, and the tiles requested. If you choose “Essential only,” or make no choice, no tile request is made at all. Directions links you click open Google Maps under Google’s own privacy policy.
  • Fonts: web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
  • Approximate location: only if you press “Locate” on the map and grant browser permission. It is used in your browser to sort nearby places and is not transmitted to us or stored.

How we use information

The table below sets out, for each category of data, where it comes from, why we process it, the legal basis we rely on (for visitors covered by the UK/EU GDPR), and how long it is kept.

In plain terms, we use information:

  • to read and respond to inquiries you send us;
  • to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website;
  • to detect, prevent, and address abuse, spam, fraud, and technical problems;
  • to comply with law and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

No sale or sharing for advertising

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in U.S. state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended. We have no financial incentive programs and we do not knowingly process the personal information of children under 16.

Who may receive information

Service providers that make this site work — our hosting/CDN provider, our email provider, the map tile provider, and the font provider — process limited technical data on our behalf or as independent controllers of their own service. We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the site.

Retention

Inquiry emails are retained only as long as needed for the purpose of the inquiry and for ordinary business record-keeping, then deleted. Technical logs are retained for a short period consistent with our provider’s standard practice.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and email in particular is not a secure medium. We cannot and do not guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to opt out of sale or targeted advertising (which we do not do), and to appeal a denial of a request. Residents of the EEA/UK may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability, and may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise a right, submit a request through the contact form. We will verify your request by replying to the email address on file and will respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not run cross-site tracking or targeted advertising, so browser DNT and GPC signals do not change how this site behaves — there is no tracking to disable.

International visitors

The site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of it.

Governing law, venue & dispute resolution

This Privacy Policy, and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to it, this website, or your use of the site — whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise — is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

You and the Publisher agree that the exclusive venue for any such dispute is the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and each party irrevocably consents to personal jurisdiction and waives any objection based on forum non conveniens. To the fullest extent permitted by law, each party waives any right to a jury trial and any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises or it is permanently barred, to the extent such a limitation is enforceable.

If you access this site from outside North Carolina or the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local law; we make no representation that the site or its content is appropriate or available in any particular jurisdiction. If any provision of this Privacy Policy is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will stay in force. See the full Terms of Use for the complete agreement.
